the Third Level / DYM
Q: Is this a
coffeehouse or a youth group?
A: It’s BOTH! We’re an active youth ministry on the north end of Springfield, MO. Once a month we open the youth room and turn it into a coffeehouse with cool lighting, awesome music, and a great time of fun and fellowship. We usually have one other “Big Deal” Activity a month like a float trip, an all-nighter, or some other crazy event. Our regular services are on Sunday nights and designed just for middle school and high school students. They usually feature an exciting praise and worship time, games, sometimes video clips, and a talk from a youth worker that is specially designed to speak to the needs and interests of teenagers.
Q: When and
where do these Sunday night services happen?
A: Directions to our church are on the home page. We’re located in the south building of our church, on the third floor (hence the creative name “The Third Level”—suddenly the world makes sense!).
Q: What’s all
this talk about reaching the Nations?
A: As a church, Dayspring is highly involved to helping people in other nations and telling them about God’s love. As a youth ministry, we’re committed to the same things. This summer we’re leaving the USA to minister to people in Mexico. Additionally, we have a team of students that focus their energies on supporting, raising money for, and praying for people in other lands.
Q: Where could
I get involved in all this?
A: We’re constantly on the lookout for people to help with music, drama, serving, coffeehouse, missions, and other areas. If you are looking for a place to get involved, we’re got one. If we don’t have one to suit your particular talents and interests, NEVER FEAR! We’ll create a spot just for you, custom-fit.
